Some early Halloween pics for '08! Cold Spring gets into it a little early with a parade. Our neighbors had a great pumpkin carving party as well. Hope everyone has a great day! I'm trying to convince Danielle to go as Sarah Palin. I'd make a good McCain.
We can't believe we're at the countdown of about 2 months left--agh!! So much left to do that's keeping Mom really stressed--which means Dad and Mom really busy with house projects. If anyone has a free minute to stop by and clean some walls with us, feel free!!
Our boy made it through with shining colors today--no tears or anything (well, at least not from him)! It was such an emotional day, and Dave and I agreed that it was one of those days that made us feel more like parents than ever before--amazing. Trajan played, painted, sat through storytime, learned some letters, went on the playground for 3 whole hours on his own without Mommy or Daddy. We are so proud of him. He came home and was wired the rest of the day, but told us he had fun and was happy. What more could we ask for? Congratulations Trajan! Happy 1st Day of School!
In honor of Trajan's official 2 1/2 year birthday, here are some recent pictures of our family. We know that we've been slack with interesting posts lately--Hayley is healing, slowly, but surely, after spine surgery, and Dave has been a super-champ carrying her all around while I eat ice cream and cookies off my huge belly. I'm sure we'll look back at this time as relaxed in another couple of months--but it's been busy and a little crazy 'round here on Main Street! But as with anything, we've tried to find time to enjoy each other's company and have fun with the "little things":
